I hope you are finding the content of my regular articles interesting and useful.

In this article I am going to cover the common symptoms of Crohn's Disease.

There are many symptoms associated with Crohn's Disease. Some of the symptoms are uncomfortable, and others can be totally debilitating. Either way they are unpleasant to live with and can result in feeling drained and exhausted.

The most common symptom of Crohn's Disease is diarrhea. It can occur anytime and does not seem to have a specific cause such as food poisoning or a stomach virus. Constant diarrhea can lead to discomfort, dehydration, and a poor balance of nutrients in the body. Diarrhea can also lead to weight loss and can make you want to avoid food, which further starves the body of essential nutrients.

Crohn's Disease does not operate in a vacuum. Excessive diarrhea can lead to rectal bleeding and fissures in the intestinal tissue. This occurs because diarrhea erodes the protective layer of mucus that prevents acidic waste from eating through the intestinal lining.

Mild, moderate and severe cramping is also associated with Crohn's Disease. This symptom can be excruciatingly painful and cause you to double over in pain. The cramping usually comes on due to waste byproducts moving over the ulcers in the intestinal tract.

Fistulas are one of the most severe symptoms of Crohn's Disease. Fistulas form when an intestinal ulcer refuses to heal. Instead, the ulcer expands and can tear through the intestinal wall and affect the surrounding organs. In some cases, the damage can extend to the skin's surface and may require surgery.

Due to the autoimmune reaction taking place inside the body, Crohn's Disease sufferers can develop fevers. Fever is the way the body fights infection, but when body temperature rises excessive sweating can further lead to dehydration.

In the ebook I recommend "Breakthrough Crohn's Disease Guide", there is more specific information on the symptoms of Crohn's Disease. It also highlights other symptoms and how to recognize them. The link for the ebook is HERE.
