Today's I wanted to talk about the different stages of endometriosis.
Endometriosis occurs in four stages.
- The first stage is a minimal case of the condition. This stage is characterized by minimal growth of the uterine wall on the ovaries.
- The second stage is a mild case. Endometriosis is not only present on the ovaries, but is also visible on the pelvic lining. The color of stage 2 endometriosis is a darker shade of red than the pink in stage 1.
- The 3rd stage of endometriosis is labeled moderate. The condition at this stage is noted due to the fact that there are more bands of outside tissue and the color of the endometriosis is darker.
- The 4th and final stage of endometriosis is considered severe. At this stage there can be widespread damage and the possibility of injury to the reproductive organs is possible.
No matter what stage of endometriosis you may be in it is a good idea to seek medical attention. There are treatments available that can help control the condition.
In the next article I will be talking about some pain management techniques.
