PanicSwap at its core is a fork of the audited Solidly code-base from Andre Cronje. Our swap user interface, as a result, will be familiar to users throughout DeFi. This AMM supports not only both stable and non-stable pairs, but also multi-hop swaps (even those that include stable and non-stable pairs mixed routes) within a very intuitive contract interface. In addition we designed a farming incentives system which features very strong tokenomics.
PanicSwap’s underlying token is known as PANIC and is integral to the PanicSwap platform. PanicSwap is fair launch, with initial supply distributed through a 0% dev fee 10 day long farming event known affectionately as the “10 days of Panic”. Users will be able to deposit single yvTOKENS into farms on the PanicSwap platform and earn PANIC in return. PANIC token emission will then shift to incentivising LPs who deposit into farms on the platform. During the “10 days of Panic”, PANIC tokens will be released without vesting.
Following the end of our farming event. PANIC tokens will come into their own. As we stated above, they will now be emitted only to users to provide liquidity to our Yearn Vault (yv) LPs. These PANIC tokens will be vested for a period of 2 years. Users can at any time withdraw their tokens, however there are a few reasons not to do so, or Panic.
