Description: The DEUS synchronizer is an innovative solidity contract that enables users of third party platforms to trade synthetic dAssets which are collateralized by DEI. dAssets include but are not limited to 1000+ stocks and commodity based dAssets such as gold and silver. Anyone can vote for new synthetic assets to be supported by the synchronizer on the DEUS snapshot page, the synchronizer has the ability to support over 50,000 synthetic assets and price feeds.
In the illustration, you can see an example of how the synchronizer works. First, a user will submit a web3 request to buy or sell a dAsset to the synchronizer contract via a third party front-end such as dSynths. After this, the user can hold dAssets in their wallet and trade them on any third party exchange that supports DEUS's synchronizer contracts. PnL from trades made with the synchronizer are determined by the synchronizer's price feed oracles, PnL is distributed as follows:
1. If a user closes a position with a profit, the initial collateral will be awarded in addition to the % in profit (DEI) that will be minted.
2. If a user closes a position at a loss, the initial collateral minus any loss made from the trade will be awarded. The loss % from the initial collateral will be awarded to the synchronizer reserves.
