Description: WhatTheFish is gamifying the minting process to make minting more fun and provide everyone who wants a WTFish ample opportunity to catch one. Our unique approach to minting has players sailing around the polluted Lake Minnow in search of fishing pools, making minting more engaging, as well as staggering the minting process, which allows fishing as your schedule allows without worrying about an instant sellout.
How It Works?
Once you’re onboard your ship, you will need to navigate the harsh waters of Lake Minnow in search of fishing pools using your sonar ping. After finding a pool, you'll be able to choose to fish with either a basic hook, or an advanced lure, which, at different price, gives different odds to acquire a higher rarity fish (or Mermaids?)! Keep catching and collecting those fish! Owning higher quantities of fish will unlock different ships that can change how you sail! After season 1 is complete, Lake Minnow's Fish & Game Warden will be looking to pay bounties to the Anglers in possession of fish with specific traits. Every week, the Fish & Game Warden will announce a handful of traits, and 100 wallets holding fish with those traits will be eligible to claim FTM rewards!
