How to Lego-proof your business?

Ever step on a Lego in your bare feet?

If you ever have, you just winced as you read that sentence.

And if you've had small children in the last 10-15 years, you've almost certainly done more than wince as that tiny little piece of colored plastic sent daggers of pain stabbing through your poor foot.

Comedian Steve Ranazzissi once quipped, "Last week I stepped on a Lego with my bare foot and I almost murdered my whole family."

Why does something so small cause so much pain?

Physics.

The mere fact that it's so small and so strong and so sharp "and we're so heavy" concentrates all the pressure and PAIN in one spot.

And we go hopping around the house holding our foot and biting our lip trying not to teach the kids any new four-letter words!

So tiny.

So painful.

It shouldn't be that way, but that's the physics "system."

Kinda like how making one little mistake in your sales funnel can kill your whole business!

Use the wrong wording on your opt-in page and subscriptions go down 50%.

Write a poor headline and sales go down 75%.

Fail to follow up well with email messages and upsells go down 30%

And on and on

Ouch!

One measly, little mistake and 'bam!

Maybe it shouldn't be that way, but that's the "system."

And when it comes to your online business there are plenty of other Legos strewn all over the living room floor just waiting for you to make one wrong step.

But it's the little ones "the ones that are hard to see" that seem to hurt the most.
